This is one of the most unique coffee shops I’ve experienced so far. The drink selection are very unique. The drinks are made with fresh ingredients, herbs and spices! I tried the blueberry coffee tonic, over ice and it was amazing! I can’t wait to come back and try another drink. I also got a fresh croissant and OMG, it was so buttery and decadent! The customer service is very genuine too! I really enjoyed my experience here!
I love getting coffee or an iced dirty chai. Their spinach roll was very good. I have tried their headless horseman and the milky way latte. Both were excellent!
I stopped in here for a coffee while traveling and I absolutely loved it! The drip coffee was delicious and so was the cinnamon roll! The baristas are super nice and were making conversation with everyone like they’re regulars, which gave it a very welcoming, homely vibe.
Sets the world standard for what cold brew is supposed to be! My wife said this morning that she wanted coffee and handpicked 42 & Lawrence....I owe her due to this pick! She had the taj mahal and I had the lavender cold brew with lavender cold foam. We split a croissant that is the best one we have had in Raleigh so far as well. I have never been to a coffee shop where one of us, let alone both of us, ordered another coffee before leaving an establishment! We will be back tomorrow God willing
42 & Lawrence coffee shop has such a lovely vibe. What brought me in initially were the unique latte names and flavors. Love Potion is my favorite so far but every time I turn around there’s another flavor I want to try. The owner has clearly added her style and magic touch to the atmosphere inside. There are plants all around and unique sitting arrangements; a bar at the window with unique stools, a bar along the barista’s station, and several tables. There is also outside seating available too. Thank you so much for providing an intriguing and calming atmosphere to enjoy coffee in downtown!
I have tried many coffee shops in Raleigh and 42 and Lawrence is one of my favorites! The Taj Mahal latte is so unique and delicious. Their espresso is nice and strong and the lattes are not overly sweet. The staff is always super kind and welcoming as well! 10/10 every time
I go here regularly and they always provide great service and are really nice. They have a lot of fun drink options and several in house made syrups. Additionally, this business sells alcohol for later in the day. It’s an industrial vibe inside with much of the furnishings being made of metal, and still there is a comfy nook in the corner where people can cozy up to get work done or read a book. There is outdoor seating as well. They have a lane for curbside pickup if you can’t find parking, but there are several parking garages close by. It’s a nice shop with nice people, you should try it out!
Been going to this place for almost 2 years. Great people, beautiful atmosphere, tasty coffee and tea! Ps: they have beer, wine and sake mimosas!
